What Our Clients Have To Say

I enjoy the Chair Dance because it helps with my coordination. After the session with Sophie i feel younger, this is down to the music choices and the dance moves that we do!

Cath, KNH Syke Fold Grange - Older Peoples Health Initiative

I started the attending the Gomersal Fitness Fusion class in January 2017 - The class is amazing, it is a fun, upbeat and energetic cardio session and Sophie is an amazing coach - so encouraging. I really enjoy the routines and that feeling of accomplishment after Sophie has done a great workout with us. I also attend this class on a regular basis because of the other ladies that attend, they are great group - we all encourage each other and are all supportive of each other. Most importantly we have a laugh with Sophie whilst getting our workout.

Asma, Fitness Fusion - Active Communities

Friendly enviroment. Exercise is suitable for disabled individuals. Very friendly and supporting teacher, it is a pleasure having Sophie teach us. I like how she makes the session specifically designed for people with disabilities and for those without. She is always so positive and is always bringing new creative ideas to the group - the music choices are also great!! Long may it continue!!

Jane, Vale Circle Mental Health Hub - Mental Health Wellbeing Scheme

Taking part in the Chair Dance makes me think which is good stimulation for my brain, i really enjoy it!! Always feel good after i have taken part, it helps to relax me.

Jim, KNH Syke Fold Grange - Older Peoples Health Initiative

Great classes, great workout and most importantly always fun...oh and great music tracks too!!

Natasha - Fitness Fusion Gomersal - Active Communities

Before attending the (chair dance) group i feel low in my mood with no motivation after the class i feel more motivated and my mood has lifted.

Katherine, Lovell Park Hub - Mental Health Wellbeing Scheme

As hard as I find it.. lol I love it! Funnily enough it is becoming easier the more I do it! The music is great and it definitely helps to keep me motivated during class. You are a fab instructor, always pushing us to do better! Thank you Sophie!!

Sarriah, Fitness Fusion Huddersfield - Active Communities

Sophie has been working with our scheme since January 2018 and the tenants who participate all thoroughly enjoy it!! The group has grown bigger and bigger each week, i have noticed that some residents especially the men who never normally join in any activities + initially said “it wasn’t for me” have been hooked. All the tenants think it is positive to do the chair dance exercises and are pleased that the sessions have been extended due to popular demand.

One tenant stated that from taking part in the chair dance exercise session she has felt a slight improvement in her back pain, it now doesn’t ache as much when she goes on her daily walks to Cleckheaton Town. Another tenant said he continues with the some of the moves + exercises that Sophie has shown the class in his own time to ensure that he is keeping up with regular physical activity.

Tracy Lawton, KNH Social Housing Scheme Coordinator, Syke Fold Grange - Older Peoples Health Initiative

Taking part in the sessions weekly lifts my mood and it makes me feel like taking a walk so i am continuing to be active. I enjoy the social side to the group, we all have a laugh!!

Mavis, KNH Syke Fold Grange - Older Peoples Health Initiative

Sometimes i have attended the (chair dance) group feeling exhausted but after taking part i leave feeling refreshed, energetic and much better in myself. The chair dance makes me feel less tense and uptight.
