DANCE ‘n’ TWIRL Workshops

Come to learn, build confidence, improve techniques and leave feeling uplifted and inspired.

After a summer of successful workshops, I'm back!! 

Come and join me (Sophie) for monthly dance workshops in Dewsbury and Huddersfield. If you have children aged from 6 years old who are interested in strengthening their dance technique or you yourself are interested, you need to get booked on to SS Dance & Wellbeing’s DANCE ‘n’ TWIRL workshops!! 

These are open to Dinkies, Tinies, Juniors and Seniors - Dance… Perform… Make new friends… Learn new skills…!

SS Dance & Wellbeing is excited to take dancers through a range of dance styles and help them to improve on their dance abilities and technique. The dance workshop will include:

• Urban Dance Warm-up & Stretching 
• Jazz & Contemporary Dance Technique
• POM Dance Combinations
• Baton Twirling 

Sophie will be leading the day and coaching all the dancers through a range of different dance styles, having over 25 years of experience in dance and teaching, these workshops will be extremely beneficial to anyone who is taking part. The main focus obviously will be to have FUN but alongside that each dancer will focus on individual expression and creativity in a supportive environment. The dance workshops will be a great way to compliment current dance training if dancers are already members of a dance team, academy or troupe.

These workshops will be 2 hours 30 minutes in duration and are aimed at dancers aged between 6 years old - 16 years old. Dance 'n' Twirl Workshops will be taking place on the following dates:

• Saturday 26th October @ Chickenley Community Hub, Dewsbury - 10AM-12:30PM
• Saturday 23rd November @ Central Youth Centre, Huddersfield - 10AM-12:30PM
• Saturday 14th December @ Chickenley Community Hub, Dewsbury - 10AM-12:30PM

Please ensure that you check the specific venues for the dates that you would like to attend to ensure that you have booked the correct workshop. Workshops will be taking place in both Dewsbury and Huddersfield. Dancers are welcome to attend all workshops if they wish to do so.

Parents booking - please enter your child’s name with age in brackets along with the rest of your details including active email address.

Senior/Junior dancers who are booking for themselves do not need to add their age.

The cost to attend DANCE ‘n’ TWIRL monthly Workshops is £5 per dancer, per session - If you haven't attended any of my previous workshops you will receive the payment details via email once you have completed your booking. 

For each workshop there will be a limited amount of spaces available - bookings will not be confirmed until payment has been received. Please only book spaces if you are able to attend. Don't worry if you do not manage to secure a space initially there will be a waiting list and if any cancellations do occur dancers will be added to the workshop in the order that they appear on the list.
